Chairman, Department Procurement Committee on behalf of Employees’ Trust Fund Board, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supplying of Trouser, Readymade Shirts, Shirt Materials, Saree, T-Shirt and Shoes for the Uniforms in the ETF Board for the year 2025.

Item No. 1 – Trouser Materials (Colour 1) : 2495 meters Item No. 2 – Trouser Materials (Colour 2) : 411 meters
Fabric Composition : Polyester 65% / Cotton 35% Colour : Black, Ash, Dark blue or similar, shall be selected from the submitted samples Samples : Samples of materials that offers shall submit along with the bids (A length of 2.5 meters (full width) of each quoted material shall be submitted as samples)

Item No. 3 – Readymade Shirts (Colour 1) Ready Made Shirts – 1600 Nos. (Long sleeves – 1400 Nos. and Short sleeves 200 Nos.) Fabric of same material : 456 meters Item No. 4 – Readymade Shirts (Colour 2) Ready Made Shirts – 220 Nos. (Long sleeves – 210 Nos. and Short sleeves 10 Nos.) Fabric of same material : 120 meters
Designs : Slim Fit & Regular Sizes : 14, 14 ½, 15, 15 ½, 16, 16 ½, 17, 17 ½, 18 etc. Fabric composition – : Polyester 65%/ Cotton 35% Colour : Preferably plain or light colour designs should be suitable for Office wear. Sample : Fully stitched two (02) Long sleeves Ready-made Shirts should be submitted along with bids

Item No.5 – Saree with Blouse material (Colour 1) : 1808 Nos. Item No.6 – Saree with Blouse material (Colour 2) : 240 Nos.
Length of Saree – 7 meters including 01 meter Blouse Piece with 45” width Design & colour: Preferably that Saree shall be designed with head piece, Border & Blouse Samples : A fully completed Saree of each quoted bid shall supply along with the bids

Type of Material : Single Jersey variation or pique With embroidery ETF name & Logo Fabric composition : Polyester 65% / Cotton 30% / Spandex 5% Colour : Ash Samples : Fully completed two (02) T-shirts of each quoted bid shall supply along with the bids

Item No. 8 – Shoes (For Males) – 138 pairs Type : Leather, without lace, suitable for Office wear Colour : Black Design : shall be selected from submitted samples. Sample : Shall be furnished along with the bid of each price quoted)

- Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB).
- Bidders shall be allowed to quote one or more items and items comparison, evaluation of Bids and Award of Contract shall be made on the basis of a single item.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement Section Tel: 011-7747236 / 011-2806198 and inspect the Bidding Document at the Procurement Section, 23rd Floor, Mehewara Piyesa, Colombo 5 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on working days until 19th June 2024.
- A complete set of Bidding Document in English language may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address below from 30th May 2024 to 19th June 2024 from 9:00 am to 3.00 pm on working days, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of LKR 6000.00 (Six thousand only) for the document. The method of payment will be in cash at the Employees’ Trust Fund Board, Procurement Section, 23rd Floor, Mehewara Piyesa, Colombo 5.
- Pre-bid meeting will be held at 30 a.m. on 6th June 2024 (Thursday) at Employees’ Trust Fund Board, Meeting Room, 1st Floor, 44/5, Narahenpita Road, Nawala.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 20th June 2024 (Thursday) at 10.30 a.m. and late bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened soon after closing of bids at Procurement Section, 23rd Floor, Mehewara Piyesa building, Narahenpita, Colombo 5. Bidders or their authorized representatives are requested to be present at the opening of bids. “Supplying of Uniform Materials 2025” should be written on top left hand corner of the envelope.
- All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security obtained from any Commercial Bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. The amount of the Bid Security values and validity dates are stated in the above table. The validity of bid Security shall be from the date of Bids opening and it should be in favor to Employees’ Trust Fund Board.
