Procurement of Goods
National Competitive Bidding (NCB)

 Supplying and Testing of IT Hardware
IFB NO. : ETF/PROC/A/2022/138

Chairman, Department Procurement Committee on behalf of Employees’ Trust Fund Board now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for supplying and testing of IT Hardware. Details are as follows.

  1. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB).

  2. Bidders shall be allowed to quote one or more items and items comparison, evaluation of Bids and Award of Contract shall be made on the basis of a single item.
  3. Multiple options/Alternatives shall not be allowed. (Bidders should comply purchaser’s specification only)

  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement Section Tel: 011-7747236/011-2806198 and inspect the Bidding Documents at the Procurement Section, 23rd Floor, Mehewara Piyesa, Colombo 5 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on working days until 6th  February 2023.

  5. Bidder shall have valid business registration along with the experiences of supplying of products and Minimum Working Capital or Credit Facility requirements are stated in the above table. Necessary evidence documents shall be submitted to fulfill the above said requirements. Other additional qualifications and experience are included in the Bidding Document.

  6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below from 16th January 2023 to 6th February 2023 from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm on working days, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs.12500.00 (Twelve thousand five Hundred only) for document. The method of payment will be in cash at the Employees’ Trust Fund Board, Procurement Section, 23rd Floor, Mehewara Piyesa, Colombo 5.

  7. Pre Bid meeting will be held at 10.30 a.m. on 24th January 2023 at 10.30 a.m. at Employees’ Trust Fund Board, Conference Room, 1st Floor, 44/5, Narahenpita Road, Nawala.

  8. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 7th February 2023 at 2.00 p.m. and late bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened soon after closing of bids at Procurement Section, 23rd Floor, Mehewara Piyesa building, Narahenpita, Colombo 5. Bidders or their authorized representatives are requested to be present at the opening of bids. “Supplying of IT Hardware” should be written on top left hand corner of the envelope.

  9.  All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security obtained from any Commercial Bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. The amount of the Bid Security values and validity dates are stated in the above table. The validity of bid Security shall be from the date of Bids opening and it should be in favour to Employees’ Trust Fund Board.
