As the Chairman of the Employees' Trust Fund Board, I am honored to lead an organization that has been dedicated to the financial well-being of the nation's workforce since its inception on 1st March 1981. Today, under the Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization, and National Policies, we continue to uphold our commitment to supporting private and semi-government sector employees across the island.

At the core of our mission, we prioritize the welfare of our members, ensuring that the 3% contribution made by their employers translates into meaningful and impactful benefits. One of the most remarkable features of our Fund is the provision of social and welfare benefits without any recovery from the members' balances. This approach allows members to focus on their employment while knowing that their savings are safe and will be accessible when they retire or switch jobs, without deductions.

Currently, our Fund proudly supports around 2.5 million members and collaborates with over 70,500 employers, with a total Fund value of Rs. 508.7 billion as of August 2024. We have worked tirelessly to expand our operations across the country through 19 regional offices, enhanced with cutting-edge IT solutions, to deliver prompt and efficient services. Our dedicated team of 848 staff members, many of whom are young and talented, drive our success and ensure we are always ready to meet our members' needs.

I firmly believe that the Employees’ Trust Fund Board should concentrate all efforts on maximizing member benefits and providing impeccable service. Our members are the very reason for our existence, and their satisfaction and financial security are paramount to us. It is our duty to ensure that they receive the best possible service, and I am fully committed to steering this organization toward that goal.

We are excited about the future and look forward to further enhancing our services and benefits to our members, continuously improving, and making a positive change in their lives.
